1. Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria
To ensure the integrity and capability of our workforce, all applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth or descent.
- Age Requirement:
- Regular Officers: Must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
- Volunteer Corps: Open to professionals and retirees (no upper age limit).
- Educational Qualification:
- Minimum of SSCE/NECO/GCE (5 Credits including English and Mathematics) for junior cadre.
- OND, HND, or BSc for senior officer cadre.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit to withstand paramilitary training.
- Character: Must be of good character with no criminal record or prior conviction.
- Height: Minimum of 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.

Types of Memberships
1. Regular Members
Regular Membership
Regular membership is open to Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 35 years, with a minimum academic qualification of the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
In line with the Corps’ mission to engage unemployed youths in meaningful and productive activities, this membership category serves as a proactive strategy to reduce crime and social vices. Successful applicants undergo Mandatory Basic Training, after which they are assigned the status of Officers or Men. Regular members are eligible to receive monthly stipends, co-funded by the organization and the institutions or communities where they are deployed.
